Reactors and Pressure Vessels

Roben Manufacturing is experienced with pressure vessel fabrication. As a pressure vessel manufacturing company, we offer jackets in the form of dimple jackets and conventional jackets. We also have extensive experience in the design and fabrication of internal coils. Our business specializes in designing reactors in accordance with ASME Sec. VIII Div. I, or other International regulations, with heating/cooling and agitation systems. Our units are designed in accordance with our customers specific operational requirements, in two key areas:

  • materials of construction
  • thermal/mechanical design characteristics

Much like heat exchangers, Agitated Reactors are subject to vibration and resonance characteristics from agitation operation, internals design, vessel filling and emptying. Therefore, computer aided designs for hydraulic loads and pressure distributions and forces based on flow velocities, can be calculated by CFD and used for FEA inputs for process improvement, increased reliability and operational safety.

Pressure Vessels and Reactors are designed in accordance with the ASME Code or other International Regulations.

Through continuous technology upgrades and operator training, we have greatly improved manufacturing quality and component life cycle behavior, resulting in increased equipment longevity for our customers. Continuous effort is dedicated to product development and plant facilities’ improvement to guarantee defect free manufacturing. All consumables are supplied by highly qualified manufacturers and are stored in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with ovens to maintain flux and electrodes in a dry environment.
